Easter 2015EASTER! New life, spring, celebrations… what’s not to like about Easter? If that was all it took, new life would be springing up as irrepressibly as daffodils. The truth is that there is a lot of foot dragging and hanging on to what needs to go – so that what could be never happens. Maybe that sounds familiar. It’s hard to let go of something that isn’t perfect, but you have it. And how do you lose a bad habit that’s as comfortable as an old pair of shoes? Jesus didn’t die and live to prove a point, but to help you die and live again – in real and powerful ways. Let’s do it! Welcome Eddie Hamilton, our artist working with us this morning!

But then we take it a step further and not only use this ability to understand, but to judge and dismiss en masse. We even use God to justify our behavior. In fact God fits. Here’s a ‘what if’ for you… What if God created the world to make more sense with than without God?
