It’s Hard Not To Wonder
Monday Nov 13, 2023
Monday Nov 13, 2023
You may wonder if that is a true assertion or not, but that just proves the point. There is nothing so certain that you don’t wonder about it. People who don’t like your wondering call it doubt, but it’s all the same. It’s the crack in the walls of certainty, the possibility that there is more to whatever it is. The bigger the question the harder it is to make a formula work, and what could be bigger than your spirituality. Let’s face it, it’s hard not to wonder. I wonder why?

It’s Hard Not To Pray
Monday Nov 06, 2023
Monday Nov 06, 2023
Prayer is your inner self speaking, shouting, and crying out beyond yourself. It’s hard not to do that. You know what else is hard not to do? Worry. In this episode, Greg Meyer helps us redirect some time from worry toward prayer.

It’s Hard Not To Connect
Monday Oct 30, 2023
Monday Oct 30, 2023
If you aren’t marooned on a desert island (in which case you aren’t reading this) you connect with other things and people constantly. The question is what you do with those connections. It may feel easier to eliminate the connections to people unlike you, but what is really hard is the endless effort of keeping those people out of your world. Your spirituality is about being whole, those people make you whole, and you are good at what’s good for you. It’s hard not to connect.

It’s Hard Not To Grow
Tuesday Oct 24, 2023
Tuesday Oct 24, 2023
The question isn’t whether you are growing or not, but how you are growing? You are adding new information, experiences, and people to your life every day. Spiritual growth isn’t something you do instead of other kinds, but through them.

Monday Oct 16, 2023
Whether you believe in God, don’t, or aren’t sure, you have a container you keep God in, a "God Box." Its walls are made of words, images, experiences, assumptions, and convictions. Some you are aware of, others you aren’t. It’s time to take a good look at yours and start renovating...expanding...upgrading!

Do you look at others the same way as you look at yourself? Probably not. We work with an uneven playing field that gives us a distorted view of ourselves and others, and that’s a problem. To be the person you can be for a world that needs you, you need to see yourself and others for who they really are

Fabric is joining the rest of the Twin Cities in cheering on the TC Marathon today - it's a great way to be Fabric! So here is a message from the archive that fits.
Long Haul Living We all know what to do for today... we have to come up with the time, energy, maybe the money to keep everything going. It can be overwhelming. And then you get to do it all over again tomorrow. And the day after… That may be what your life feels like, but is it what you want your life to be about? For millennia some have stepped off that treadmill, taken a look at it, and said "No more!" Join this podcast as we name a Quality we desire, a Practice to support it, and a Personal Commitment to start with.Find out more about Fabric Minneapolis at fabricmpls.com. Stuff That Works | Pipes
Monday Sep 25, 2023
Monday Sep 25, 2023
To put it simply, you are meant to be a pipe, not a bucket; a vessel through which the stuff of life flows, not in which stuff accumulates. While you may agree with that, we like to have, possess, collect, hold on to. Letting go is one of the hardest things we do, yet it is how life grows within and beyond us. Since it is so important and so hard, it is important for us to consider and practice this thing that works.
