The Power of Being There – There is more to you than Jacob’s Well, and there’s more to Jacob’s Well than Sunday morning. But important things happen because we show up together. That’s just a small picture of the many ways and places your being there matters.
Here's the message outline. Find other resources like discussion guides at www.jacobs-well.net/leftovers. Also watch for Leftover podcasts coming up each week in which we talk through parts of the message that ended up on the cutting room floor.

CareIQ Review
Sunday Mar 12, 2017
Sunday Mar 12, 2017
When someone you care about is having a tough time it can be tough to know what to do, and much of life is a lot harder than ‘a tough time.’ Unfortunately caring isn’t enough. It takes learning and experience to be the help you want to be. On March 12 we reviewed what we are learning about CareIQ. No, we’ll never chase all the problems away or find a fix for all the unfixable things life brings us, but we can build our capacity together. Make a point of being here and connect with GroupLife to take it deeper and make it real.

Wisdom From the Wasteland
Sunday Mar 05, 2017
Sunday Mar 05, 2017
If you’ve been a part of Jacob’s Well for a while you have probably heard a message from our friend Andy Jolivette, but you may not have noticed it’s been a while since he’s been with us and that’s because he experienced some big “life disruptions” a few years ago. He was with us on March 5 to tell his story of getting knocked down, facing his feelings, discovering the gift of gratitude, and slowly/painfully reclaiming his life.

Free Money: Shame Busters
Monday Feb 27, 2017
Monday Feb 27, 2017
Should churches be groups that talk about money? Jesus sure talked a lot about it. Maybe rather than adding to the shame churches can deconstruct shame and helping us work together to use the money that's been entrusted to us to help shape the world around us in life-giving shame-free ways.
