Speaking From Experience: The Miracle Happening
Sunday Oct 21, 2018
Sunday Oct 21, 2018
The Miracle happening draws us into viewing the world through different eyes. It asks questions about how we experience the world around us as it’s happening. The stories of the Bible can feel like a book about a far away land in a faraway time with little to say about how we live. What if the Bible was a way for us to recognize how the world works in a different way and how we can be a part of the miraculous happening now.

Speaking from Experience: The One Thing
Sunday Oct 14, 2018
Sunday Oct 14, 2018
The One Thing isn’t the only thing, but it is the main thing. An astrophysicist might figure out the One Thing with math, but you probably won’t figure yours out that way. You’ll probably learn it with your gut as much as your head, and chances are you’ll probably always chase it in someway. A long, long time ago someone got ‘woke’ by Jesus and after spending years with him realized the One Thing that the world was really all about. He wanted to make sure everyone heard it - including you. Curious?

The Long Haul: Scraps
Wednesday Oct 03, 2018
Wednesday Oct 03, 2018
Chris, Melissa, and Greg talk about some of the themes brought up in our September conversations about The Long Haul, like these personal commitments we've been claiming together:
I will not lie to myself
I will not avoid vulnerability
I will not let my influencers be chosen by someone else
I will not tie my hands with what's not important to me
Let's keep talking about how to stay in it for the long haul together!

Investing: Driven by What Matters Most
The Chris Farrells & Kai Ryssdals of the world remind us about our retirement while we burn through our money as fast as we earn it. That’s just money, what about what matters most? If it’s important, if it’s part of life for the long haul, then it should be part of today. A big part. Okay, you already know that, but are you doing it? What we value less gets in the way of what we value most. There is something we can do about that.

The Long Haul: Selective
Sunday Sep 23, 2018
Sunday Sep 23, 2018
Selective: The Importance of Which Others - What do you suppose determines who you will be more than anything else? Is it your family? Your neighborhood? The school you go to or the classes you take? Is it your genes, your IQ, your diet? Or is just you and what you put your mind to? Truth be told, there is no absolute answer to that question, but one thing under your control is a major factor in determining your long haul that few people pay much attention to. Let’s pay attention to it.
