Learning the F Word: F Life
Sunday Oct 13, 2019
Sunday Oct 13, 2019
Forgiveness is a lot of work. Especially when we live in a way that expects no problems and has to muster the courage to deal with them when they inevitably show up. What if we saw life differently? What if we assumed friction, problems and offenses were part of life together and used them to grow rather than hide from them? And what if forgiveness wasn’t a big event but a way of life?

Is the F Word Really a Big Deal?
Sunday Oct 06, 2019
Sunday Oct 06, 2019
We've acknowledged how forgiveness can be a dirty word. We ignore it, cheapen it, and try to escape from it, but are we just making too big a deal about it? In this episode, Melissa, Greg, and Chris step back and ask the question, "Is the f word really a big deal?"

Learning the F Word: F Yourself
Sunday Sep 29, 2019
Sunday Sep 29, 2019
F'ing yourself, um, meaning forgiving yourself can be the hardest of all the forgiveness challenges. It is easier to write yourself off as unforgivable, or just forget about it and move on. But should you choose to do the real thing and realize, accept and deal with all the messed up stuff you are and have done, well, that will be a journey. Maybe the most important journey of your life.
In this episode, Greg Meyer helps us see how there's forgiveness woven into the fabric of the universe and it's not only worth it, but possible, to offer it to yourself.

Learning the F Word: F Them
Sunday Sep 22, 2019
Sunday Sep 22, 2019
TV shows, movies, feel-good news clips and your Aunt Mabel have all told you that you just need to forgive someone whom you are angry and resentful with or hurt by. But why should YOU forgive THEM? They haven’t made up for it or changed! Why should you do them that favor and pay all the cost yourself? Or...maybe that’s not what forgiveness is about. Listen as Melissa Lock walks us through this difficult issue and helps us live into it.

Learning the F Word: Getting F'd
Sunday Sep 15, 2019
Sunday Sep 15, 2019
That sounds horrible, but it’s really wonderful, if you realize that this F word is forgiveness. Getting forgiven means you have to say one of the hardest phrases in any language, “I’m sorry.” Asking someone you’ve hurt to forgive you may not seem like the highlight of your day but what if it was? What if it meant moving from the world you were enduring to one with wide open possibility? That’s worth talking about!

Learning the F Word: Why the F Word is Bad
Sunday Sep 08, 2019
Sunday Sep 08, 2019
Why the F Word is Bad - You may have been raised not to say the F word. You were also probably raised not to use the other F word. Forgiveness. Sure, you’ve said it, you can define it, but the only people who understand it are the ones who have had their lives turned upside-down by it. Forgiveness isn’t for those who want revenge, the status quo or even justice, it’s for those who want a life they can’t imagine yet.
