Why bother with trying? (Greg @ Field)

“I’m a good person. I don’t lie and cheat. I treat people fairly and give money to charities. I love my family. I’m not perfect, but who is? So isn’t that enough?” You’ve heard it, maybe said it. So why does God expect all this other stuff. Praying, reading the Bible, serving, worshipping, It’s all a lot of work none of us have time for and face it, Christians haven’t fixed the world that way anyway. Why bother even trying?
